Lobster is such a big part of what we know as New England cuisine we’re not afraid to offer you one more dish prepared with it. Lobster rolls can be found almost anywhere, but there’s no region to have perfected this sandwich to quite the same degree as the versions found here!
- 2 Lb Lobster Meat, cooked and chopped
- 2 Celery Stalks, finely chopped
- 1 C Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbsp Celery Seed
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 8 Split-Top Hotdog Buns
- 2 Tbsp Butter
In a large bowl, combine the lobster, celery, lemon, mayo, celery seed, salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly. Cover and store in fridge. Heat a pan on medium heat. Spread butter to cover both sides (if using split-tops) of your buns 😉 and cook both sides until gold brown. Divide the lobster salad between the buns and enjoy.
